Guest Author Spotlight

This week I have a special treat for you. Cynthia Arsuaga will be dropping in all the way from Florida to tempt and tease us for a few days.
This special lady has a sassy style and a wicked sense of humor. I know this because not only is she a fantastic new author, but the brave soul has even co-written books with her adorable husband, Mike. It takes a special kind of woman to work that closely with her "better half" and still remain happily married. (Just between you and me, I bet it's the spicy love scenes that keep them goin')
Don't take my word for it, though, just take a look at the title of her first novel that released just last week. It speaks for itself, but here is a little hint as to what you may expect between the pages of ..... Born to be Wild!!

Alexandra Carlton, Alex to her friends, the only girl born into a family of vampire hunters with strict rules. She lived and hunted by the Code. Despite insecurities and self-esteem issues about her appearance, she eagerly tracks a rogue vamp carrying a contagious virus, deadly to vampires and humans alike, to prove her worth, to her family and herself.

Alex meets Stefan Marin, a brooding 500 year old vampire. He helps her not only on her quest but tames her wildest passions and discovers the true beauty within her, the beauty he loves.
Together Alex and Stefan break all the rules uncovering more than a virus—hot sex, an uptight FBI Special Agent, spanking, hot sex, a nosy, meddling brother, more hot sex, bondage and submission, murder, and bad vampires.
Will their love survive the wild side they were born to live?

A little about Cynthia...
Cynthia resides in Orlando, Florida, the land of magic, surrounded by the treasured gems in her life, a caring, loving husband, dutiful and loyal daughter, and precious, delightful granddaughter. Oh and not to forget her mischievous Yorkshire Terrier, Thumper.
Cynthia was a “Navy Brat” calling a different port home every couple of years—from Southern California, to Boston, to Virginia, to Florida. She developed wandering feet and diverse interests and passionately incorporates those experiences into her stories, bringing characters to life, and eloquently sharing the vivid images of her mind with her audience.
Cynthia worked as a real estate broker for over twenty years before retiring to Florida. Until recently, then she turned to writing to stretch her creative muscle. Those ideas of faraway places and quirky characters lay dormant for years and finally demanded their story be told.
Cynthia plans on putting some mileage on those wandering feet and travel to exotic locations in the coming years. So look for the journeys to be expressed in Romantic Words by Cynthia in the future.

Don't worry folks, you can hear more about Cynthia tomorrow when I put her in the hot seat and get some really interesting answers to some very nosy questions. (I think she likes that hot seat a little too much)

  4. Thanks Robin for having me here this week! Florida vixen, oh I'm blushing, and how'd you know about my sweetie and me? Did I let that slip in conversation. Oops!

To Everyone else who has commented so far, thanks for the words of support. I loved writing this story about Alex and Stefan and the world they live in, I couldn't stop writing. I've a follow-on story almost complete with another character from their story finding their love. Same hot sex, quirky, and dark vamps and humans interacting in a modern world.
