Blood Hunter-The Beginning
Coming March 1st
For thirty years, Raven Prince has lived just fine with no mate and no hassles. The carefree vampire, happy to be the odd-girl-out in a small, close-knit coven, lusts for one thing and one thing only—human blood. The more handsome the snack, the happier she is.
Thorne Abbott, on the other hand, only has a taste for the blood of the vampire that savagely murdered his father eleven years before. The determined human won’t rest until that craving is satisfied, even if it means getting himself killed in the process.
A sexy game of pool in a small town bar throws a wrench in both of their plans and ignites a flame so hot, neither could have extinguished even if they wanted to.
The hunter and the hunted battle with themselves and each other as passion, love and a quest for truth sends them on a deadly mission that’s sure to either destroy them…or set them free.
Can lovers from different worlds manage to see past their differences, or are there good reasons why the two species should never unite?
Will it be friend or foe that goes bump in the night?
Thorne bent over and scooped Raven up in his arms and carried her to the sofa then plopped her down on the large cushions and stood over her.
Raven looked up at him and saw the vein pop in his neck. He was excited and his blood rushed throughout his body like a bullet train.
He gazed down at her in a way he’d never looked at her before, his determination painfully evident.
“Thorne,” she whispered shaking her head. They shouldn’t be doing this.
“Shut up.” His voice softly hissed.
In a flash, he was atop her body, kissing her feverishly. The buttons of his shirt she wore flew in different directions as he ripped it open. “ Screw Mt. Everest!” He declared as he buried his head between her breasts pressing them together. He sucked and licked her nipples ravenously, like a greedy kid gobbling down two tasty ice cream cones on a hot summer’s day.
Raven tilted her head back hard as chills of excitement from his touch rushed across her body. She ran her fingers through his hair as he moved farther down her body and kissed, licked and nibbled hungrily at her flesh.
She moaned and gasped with every electric jolt of the climax Thorne's insatiable appetite encouraged. His head remained buried in her flesh doing things to her that hadn’t been done in so long she had all but forgotten the thrill.
Why had she resisted this? It was all she’d wanted since the first time she laid eyes on him.
His demands for exploration were met easily as he conquered the territory he had so playfully teased her about. His mouth ventured into her sensual folds, probing and pleasuring her to the brink of explosion. By the time he returned his mouth to hers, the kisses were fueled by a passion she’d longed for.
Suddenly she was the one on a journey of unexplored territory, a journey with absolutely no hope for return.
Raven remained lost in Thorne as his body mingled with hers over and over. Making love to him was the easiest and most difficult thing she had ever done in her life. Easy, because he instantly knew her body and fulfilled her needs without hesitation. There were no boundaries he wouldn’t cross to please her. Difficult, because her concentration had to remain focused on the one natural thing vampires always did while making love—biting.
As Thorne’s heartbeat pounded out of control, his blood flooded from one place to another instantly. As it coursed through his veins, his scent strengthened with intoxicating pheromones. The scent of his blood became richer, thicker, and sweeter. The beating sound of his pulse boomed in Raven’s ears. His heavy breathing engulfed her senses with the aroma of his savory breath. No matter how hard she tried to control it, the natural progression of her bloodlust grew and grew.
Thorne leaned back on the sofa with Raven straddled across his lap. His mouth urgently kissed her neck, shoulders and breasts. Suckling her rock hard nipples, he created jolt after jolt of electricity to warm her all over. Raven rocked her body in rhythm with his as the kisses continued to caress her flesh. She felt the warmth of his blood rush beneath her as Thorne’s excitement thundered throughout his body and burrowed deep inside of her.
His eyes were closed and his head pressed against the sofa forcefully as he tried to hold onto her. Raven grasped his shoulders to remain straddled across his lap as she bucked, grinded and gave her body over to him completely. She clenched her thighs tighter locking them in place against his. Her body jerked and shivered and she knew what was about to happen.
Her fangs slipped out slowly and she ran her tongue across them. Thorne gripped her waist with his hands firmly holding her in place. His breathing became rapid and labored. The sweat from his brow trickled down his cheek. His eyes were clenched shut as he panted in the throes of ecstasy.
Raven focused and tried not to look at the throbbing artery pulsating in his neck. Her nails extended out and the vein popped just above where her thumb squeezed his shoulder. The prick would be instant and the blood would spill effortlessly down his chest. She could so easily lap it up without him even realizing she was drinking his blood and not just savoring the moment.
Raven held her breath and struggled hard not to breathe in his scent. The eruption beneath her was imminent and all she had to do was hold out a few seconds more. Thorne groaned as the pressure rose within him. Raven bit her bottom lip and grimaced from the pain of fighting her innate urge to feed as she climaxed. She wasn’t hungry, but the passion had triggered something natural within her. With male vampires, she had no problems controlling the desire because there was no need to suppress it. But now? She had no choice. Biting him was not an option.
Thorne finally trembled between her legs and as his body violently shook, she squeezed her legs tightly in place so she wouldn’t move. She kept her arms extended and braced herself clenching his shoulder with her hands. Just a few seconds more. His pulse throbbed as he exploded inside of her.
Thorne grabbed her by her waist and pulled her close to him burying his head in her bosom as his body erupted with unbridled passion within her. The scent assaulted Raven’s senses to the point she could no longer control the primal urges she had been fighting so hard to tame. She tried to rise up off him, but he pulled her back down.
“Thorne,” she winced.
“Hum?” He replied with his mouth fixed securely on her nipple as he suckled through his eruption.
She gasped. “Thorne!” She tried to get his attention.
Slowly he tilted his head back and looked up at her with a satisfied grin on his face. His eyes shot open wide. “Oh, crap!” He wriggled beneath her and scrambled to let her go.
Raven jumped off him the instant he released her.Thorne put his hands on top of his head as she leapt from him, clearing the way. She took one look at the shocked expression on his face and in a flash; she flitted up the stairs. She ran to her room and locked herself in the bathroom, ashamed for what she could have done.
I am so excited about this new series. These characters have grown in my heart over the last year and I can't wait to share them with the world.
I hope you will follow this series and see just what fate and the world has in store for Raven and Thorne.
