Welcome back everyone!! Today I am totally handing Sealed with a Kiss over to the one, the only, Raven McAllan!!
She has some awesome news, but I’ll let her explain it all. Be careful though, she’s very enthusiastic about it and might get carried away. Personally, I hope she does because we could use some excitement around here this week!!!
Take it away, Raven!! It’s all yours…
Okay I'm trying to be cool, calm, collected and sophisticated. Wait for it…
No, not going to happen.
*Dances around like a demented flea.*
I have a book out. No not true, I have two books out. Well one and a half. *Giggle*
Clear as mud eh?
Imagine my surprise and over the moon happiness, when Totally Bound gave me the date for Diomhair book 2, Secrets Uncovered as August 15th, and then a few weeks later told me they had scheduled the print book Diomhair Volume 1 to come out on the same day.
That has books one and two in it…
Chair Swivel Jiggles were the order of the day I tell you.
Any book publication day is a red letter day, but this is a double dipping red letter day.
Don't expect to get much sense out of me.
It's a good job I'm writing this prior to publication then. Because I really can't believe it.
When I started writing around three years ago, I thought if I got one book published it would be enough.
How wrong was I.
This is around the sixty–fifth story I've had published of all lengths and subgenres, including YA, in electronic form, and it will be my sixth book in print.
Not bad for a granny. Even one who refuses to grow old gracefully. And woo hoo there's a few more in the pipeline.
What drives me on?
The thought of all these characters battering my mind, and demanding their stories told. Places I visit and think 'oh this would make a fantastic setting for a book'. A face in a crowd that interests me and makes me wonder what that person's story is.
I'm nosy. Guess that's what's needed eh?
A ruined castle not far from where I live got my mind buzzing. I knew Id have to set a story there, and Diomhair, A BDSM club set in a castle was born.
Diomhair is Gaelic for secret, and oh the secrets there are amongst the people who use the castle. To say nothing of the castle itself.
Secret. What's happens there stays there.
It doesn't matter whether you want to learn or teach, be in control or controlled, Diomhair could be the place for you.
The ruined castle deep in the Scottish countryside had been rebuilt into an exclusive, private, BDSM club, where people could learn about and enjoy the lifestyle.
Not everyone approved, and not everyone appreciated it, but for those who did and fit the criteria, it was somewhere to go and be themselves, relax and play.
And if you found love there, your own perfect match, well that could only be a bonus.
For isn't the secret to true love the biggest secret of all?
They say never share a secret. Sometimes though, it’s the only thing to do.
Jess is looking forward to her night out clubbing with her best friend, but her anticipation turns to dismay when she realises the venue is a BDSM club not the disco she’d envisioned. After a disastrous experience with the lifestyle in her past, she’s adamant she wants nothing to do with it now.
David agreed to pick up his friend’s sister as a favour, and is surprised to find himself instantly attracted to the fiery Jess. The experienced Dom recognises Jess’ bluster for what it is—fear. There is no doubt in his mind that Jess is submissive, but getting her to accept that fact will take some doing.
David is determined to help her, but it is up to Jess to accept. When Jess does give in to her secret desires, can she truly let go and be the sub David is looking for, or will she hold onto her secrets?
At Diomhair you never know what will happen in the end.
Reader Advisory: This book contains reference to sexual abuse.
Convincing a Dom that pregnancy doesn’t mean the end of all play can take some doing. Kath is horny and determined, but what does Jeff think?
Pregnancy should be the happiest time of your life. What’s a sub to do, however, when her Dom won’t touch her? Kath can’t understand why Jeff is being so difficult. After all, she’s pregnant, not ill, and she’ll combust with sexual frustration if she can’t seduce Jeff into play.
Jeff can’t help but worry over Kath’s health. It doesn’t matter what anyone, including the doctor, says about sex being okay, his mind tells him otherwise. It’s his duty to protect his sub, even if he’s giving himself blue balls in the process. He’ll do anything to keep her and their baby safe.
With the two of them at an impasse, tension runs high, especially when the future of Diomhair is threatened by an unknown enemy.
As they pull together to secure their home, and their workplace, can they also resolve their personal problems, or does pregnancy spell the end of their Dom/sub relationship?
Reader Advisory: This book contains scenes of light BDSM.
A little more about Raven...
Well what can I say?
I'm growing old disgracefully and loving it.
Dh and I live on the edge of a Scottish forest, and rattle around in a house much too big for us.
Our kids have grown up and flown the nest, but roll back up when they want to take a deep breath and smell the daisies so to speak.
I write in my study, which overlooks the garden and the lane. I'm often seen procrastinating, by checking out the wild life, looking—only looking—at the ironing basket and assuring tourists that indeed, I'm not the bed and breakfast. That would mean cooking fried eggs without breaking the yolks, and disturbing the dust bunnies as they procreate under the beds. Not to be thought of.
Being able to do what I love, and knowing people get pleasure from my writing is fantastic. Long may it last.
You can find me and all my books on
